Custom manufacturing

R&R’s custom manufacturing process allows you to buy exactly what you need based on your supplied application specifications or per print. We can tailor our products to suit your specific requirements, meeting your production targets no matter how ambitious they might be. Unlike some manufacturers who have only a few planetary machines, we have over 80. Additionally, we also have several dozen wire cutting machines, bending machines and other specialist components to help make custom U-bolts. This enables us to run a continuous production process that can produce an enormous number of parts.

With 3.5 million pounds of uncommitted raw material in house, we can fulfill most orders immediately. A vast inventory and buying in advance help the company minimize cost fluctuations and pass the savings on to customers. Raw material availability coupled with the R&R’s high speed planetary equipment allows custom fasteners to be produced without delay.

Finished goods inventory & stockings program

Stock and release programs or blanket orders are a specialty of ours. Programs are available for up to 12 months. Customer’s orders will be completed, packaged and ready to ship from our facility. Customers can schedule releases of finished products or call to release parts as needed, with the ability to be released same day.

R&R Engineering has state-of-the-art, quality control measurement equipment on every manufacturing workstation and also in the Quality Control Lab.

Capable of precise, 2D vision measurements of parts ranging in sizes up to: 7-1/2” x 8” and 8” x 11”.
Capable of electrodeposited zinc plating thickness measurements for parts ranging in sizes up to 16-1/2”x 17.7” and conforms to DIN 50 987, ASTM B568 and EN ISO 3497.
16” Optical Comparator, a Brinell Hardness tester, UNC, UNF, and Metric Thread Ring Gage Setting Plugs, Mitutoyo Digital Calipers, Digital Micrometers, and Calibrated Gage Pins and Blocks.
